The BBC World Service Trust in Nigeria is seeking to recruit experienced individuals to join the Peace and Democratic Governance Program Team which is funded by USAID. The Project aims to address these issues through media development activities which will be designed to boost the capacity of media partners in the six focal states to serve the public interest through greater editorial and financial independence and professionalism while adhering to international standards of news reporting and programme making, by producing more objective, impartial, accurate and balanced outputs. The Program will also create platforms where government officials and policies are explained and questioned either by or on behalf of the audience. Job Vacancy: Logistics Officer (1 year renewable) The successful candidate will organize all BBC WST related travel arrangements, including transportation, accomodation etc. Be responsible for protocol matters, including logistics facilitation of outputs, meetings, workshops and conference among other things. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Minimum of one year working knowledge in a similar position preferably in an NGO or in a related environment. Ability to plan, organize and manage several tasks simultaneously.
